Our family recently stayed at Hoshi Ryokan, and the experience was lovely. As a father, I appreciated how welcoming the atmosphere was for all ages, especially for our little one under three. The large two-room suite provided ample space for him to explore comfortably. Each evening, we enjoyed tea and cookies together, which became a charming ritual. The kind owner greeted us at the train station and even offered to help with our luggage—a thoughtful gesture. With quick access to the town and family-friendly amenities, we found plenty of activities to enjoy together in Tsuwano. Plus, the choice of Japanese or Western breakfast catered well to our family's tastes.
